SSympozium

How Sympozium works

For courses, study days, talks, teaching sessions and conferences: from first plan to CPD certificate, in five stages.

  1. Plan

    • Create your organisation.
    • Build the programme, invite faculty and set up your ticket types.
  2. Sell

    • Add your bank details. You need them before you can publish an event with paid tickets.
    • You don't need a payment account of your own; attendees pay through Sympozium.
    • Publish your event and share its page.
  3. Deliver

    • Check attendees in on the day from a phone. It runs in the browser, so there's nothing to install, and each check-in is recorded on the attendee's ticket.
  4. Evaluate

    • Attendees who checked in rate the event and its sessions, and are emailed a reminder after it ends. You see the results anonymously; speakers see their own sessions' results.
  5. Certify

    • Once the event has ended, each attendee who checked in and completed any feedback you require gets a CPD certificate automatically.
    • Each certificate carries a unique reference.

Paid tickets, the programme builder, faculty invitations, files, feedback and certificates come with the Pay as you go and Organisation subscription plans. See pricing.

Ticket revenue, less fees, is paid to your bank account by transfer after the event.
